Violet is looking for a specific component for a spell, but fails her retrieval mission. This was my first go at action in a long time, a lot of fun!
Do you wanna see tension?
Set in WWII Italy. This sequence is inspired by a story from my great-grandmother. I edited some details and changed the point of view to a young German soldier sent to search for traces of Italian partisans and deserters.
Something Musical?
The song used is Krasue by HummusVacuum
I am a fan of trying out new software. I put this together shortly after Procreate Dreams came out. The camera moves were kinda tricky to key, but overall very fun to work on, especially for the brushes and layer modes.
Something for kids?
First half of an episode I boarded for the TV kids series "Work it out Wombats!"
It was an absolute blast to read through the script, figuring out the mise en scène and find interesting ways to help scenes flow together. Many thanks to the director and other storyboard artists on the team for their critiques and communication.
